FAQs
Can I rent a venue without having to rent the entire hotel?
Yes, events can be held with the exclusive use of some areas of the District. (See Venue Setup section)
When is lights out?
11:00 pm. Extended hours may be requested with review required before approve. Extra costs will be incurred.
Who performs the ceremonies at your hotel?
You can choose the right type of officiant for your style and your ceremony: religious, symbolic, or legal. For a legal wedding, an authorized judge will lead your ceremony. Non-denominational ministers lead symbolic ceremonies, and religious weddings are conducted by a spiritual leader such as a priest, pastor, chamman, etc
Do you have vegan/ vegetarian options?
Yes. The District offers a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan-friendly dishes. If you have any dietary restrictions or requirements, please let us know.
How many weddings do you host per day?
Only one: yours. Your wedding is an important, once-in-a-lifetime celebration that deserves exclusivity - and that's just what you'll find at our boutique hotel.
How much time in advance I have to schedule an event?
We recommend a minimum of at least 6 months for large and highly organized events.
Subject to availability of the dates on which the event is required.
What is the accommodation capacity?
At Hotel Panamera and Panamera Suites, there is a capacity to accommodate up to 72 people, subject to availability. The accommodation is distributed across 36 rooms with double occupancy.
What is the difference between a legal, religious and symbolic ceremony?
Legal ceremonies are officiated by a judge who is authorized by the Mexican government to issue a marriage certificate which is valid in Mexico only. In order to be registered in a foreign country, it must be translated and legally stamped. One of the requirements for a legal wedding in Mexico is a blood test that must be taken at least three business days before the wedding. Symbolic ceremonies are led by a non-denominational minister who will give a reading about love and the partnership of marriage. The minister will issue a certificate with no legal value. Religious ceremonies are sacred rituals led by a pastor, priest, rabbi, or another spiritual leader, Jewish, Mayan, Catholic weddings are a few of the religious ceremonies that we offer.
Can we have the ceremony on the beach?
Yes. We can organize beautiful Civil or Symbolic ceremonies on the beautiful Tulum Beach. Please note that the beaches in this area belong to the state, so all events and ceremonies held on the beach must consider a payment to the government. Religious (Catholic) ceremonies must be celebrated at the nearest church, as mandated by the Vatican any Catholic ceremony can be performed outside of consecrated church.
Do you offer menu tastings?
Yes. Ask us for details about scheduling a tasting for a confirmed event.
What if it rains on the day of my event?
We have enough space to cover an event for 80-90 people indoors in the restaurant area of the Panamera Hotel. If the event is organized for more than 90 people, we suggest that you coordinate with our team to change the layout of the event or rent tarps.
Do you have parking?
Yes. Limited amount of spaces available. Valet parking cost: $250 MXN per vehicle.
Do you make custom tailored menus for events?
Yes. We require advance notice so we can create a thoughtfully special menu according to your needs and preferences.
What services does your wedding coordinator provide? Is there a fee?
Our talented wedding planner will be guide you with the hotel booking process, events logistics, wedding day coordination at the hotel. However, if you think you need special assistance on your wedding day we recommend to hire a personal wedding planner services.
Can children attend our wedding?
Our hotel is adults only, however, kids are welcome when you book a buyout.
How can I set the dates for my event?
First provide the desired dates to check the availability. Once dates and costs are agreed upon, a contract is sent and once signed, 50% of that quote must be paid as a confirmation of the event.
Is there any extra event details/ services you have to offer?
We can help you booking live music, creating a candy & snacks bar, ordering flowers, and even renting furniture as well as electronic equipment to make your event the more magical than you’d ever imagined. Ask for our preferred and recommended wedding vendors.
What is the minimum number of rooms required for a room block?
The minimum number of rooms required for a room block is 10 rooms (Getting a special rate). A minimum stay of 2 nights is required during the week, and 3 nights on weekends.
